The Aeron Chair was created by Bill Stumpford and Don Chadwick in 1994, and in 2016 an updated version of the legendary Aeron Remastered chair was introduced to the world.
While its iconic form has largely remained unchanged, the Aeron Remastered chair has been updated to meet the needs of today, building on the latest research in seating science, as well as advances in materials, manufacturing and technology. The new Aeron chair incorporates two decades of technological and ergonomic advancements to expand the range of performance options.
For different people, a chair of the same size will not work. Designed with an edge-to-centre design, the Aeron is available in three sizes, thus ensuring the same comfort for users with different anthropometric data.
Using the table provided, choose the correct chair size for you. Size A – for people with a height of 147-165 cm and a weight of 40-68 kg, this chair is ideal for a teenager. The most common size is for people with a height of 160-185 cm and a weight of 59 to 148 kg. Size C is suitable for people with a height of 168 to 198 cm, a chair in this size can withstand weight up to 159 kg! This approach to inclusion has become an integral part of the Aeron.
With care for the environment
The Aeron chair has set a new benchmark for sustainability and environmental friendliness. All materials are completely safe, including 39% recycled materials and up to 91% recyclable raw materials. The Aeron Remastered has also had its seat weight reduced by 1.4kg. Thanks to all the innovations, the updated Aeron chair received Cradle to Cradle Certified Silver, BIFMA Level 3 and Greenguar status.
